  • Arrive at Wellington Airport and collect your Toyota RAV4 (or similar) with ULTRA cover from Ezi Car Rental. Drive into the city and check in to Rydges Wellington. Spend the afternoon exploring the capital at your own pace.

  • Embark on the Capital Flavours Tour with Big Foody Tours Wellington, sampling the city’s finest local food, wine, and culinary delights. Return to your hotel and enjoy an evening in Wellington.

  • Drive through the scenic Wairarapa region to Martinborough. Check in to Parehua Resort, your charming home for the next two nights. Relax and take in the vineyard surroundings.

  • Enjoy a full-day wine tour for two with Martinborough Wine Tours, visiting boutique wineries, sampling award-winning wines, and learning about the region’s winemaking heritage.

  • Drive north to Hawke’s Bay and check in to the Porters Boutique Hotel for your Great Wine Capital package. Enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival and settle in.

  • Experience the Aotearoa Wine Experience for two at Smith & Sheth. In the evening, enjoy a Chef’s Choice three-course dinner for two at Malo. Each morning, take advantage of your NZ$50 breakfast credit at Maina and enjoy an extended 11 am check-out.

  • Spend a relaxed day exploring Hawke’s Bay. Visit boutique wineries, charming towns, or coastal scenery at your leisure, soaking in the region’s world-class wine and food offerings.

  • Drive back to Wellington and board the Interislander Ferry, including Premium Lounge access and your vehicle. Arrive in Picton and drive to Blenheim to check in to 14th Lane Boutique Hotel.

  • Embark on the Discover Marlborough Half-Day Wine Tour with Marlborough Wine Tours. Sample iconic Sauvignon Blancs and explore boutique vineyards while learning about the region’s winemaking traditions. Spend the evening relaxing in Blenheim.

  • Drive south along the scenic Pacific coast to Kaikoura. Check in to Sudima Kaikoura and take in the stunning coastal views. Optional activities include whale watching or enjoying the local seafood.

  • Continue your journey south to Christchurch and check in to Rydges Latimer Christchurch. Spend the afternoon exploring the city, visiting local attractions, or relaxing at your hotel.

  • Return your vehicle to Ezi Car Rental at Christchurch Airport and continue your onward travel, completing your indulgent New Zealand wine and culinary adventure.

Package price is per person based on 2 adults in a Double room and priced in Australian Dollars. Pricing is correct at time of submission but is subject to change without notice. Valid for travel from 01 April – 30 Sep 2026. Book by 31 March 2026.  Car hire is with Ezi Car Rental and includes a zero insurance excess.  The Great Wine Capital is only available for stays Tuesday to Saturday (check out Sunday is allowed) Experience Aotearoa is closed Sunday & Monday. Blackout periods & surcharges may apply over special event periods.  Inclusions are subject to change based on supplier operational capabilities. International and domestic flights are not included.
